These terms apply to tutoring services provided by Kok Tutoring. By booking a consultation or session, you agree to them.

Services

I provide one-on-one academic tutoring in person and online. Tutoring supports learning but cannot guarantee specific grades, test scores, or admissions outcomes.

Scheduling and cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full. If I need to cancel, I will reschedule at no cost.

Rates and payment

Rates are agreed in writing before tutoring begins. Payment is due at the time of the session unless otherwise arranged. Prepaid packages are valid for the period stated when purchased.

Refunds

Unused sessions in a prepaid package may be refunded on request, less any discount applied for buying the package. Completed sessions are not refundable.

Academic integrity

I help students understand material and improve their own work. I do not complete homework, tests, or essays on a student’s behalf.

Student names and photos

I do not post student names, photos, schools or results without written consent from the student, and from a parent or guardian for students under 18. Testimonials use first names or initials only.

None of these organizations, and none of the schools named on this site, sponsor or endorse Kok Tutoring.

Online sessions

Online sessions use third-party video tools. Sessions are not recorded without the consent of the student.

Students under 18

If the student is under 18, a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on their behalf.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page.
